HI, i think that when the reader adjusts the size of the rim, the size that the rim is being displayed at should be shown (EG: 16")

We threw everything we had to do this, but there is just too many variables in the car images. ie. a hummer has to scaled down more to fit in the rimxchange window more than say a mini does, so once we scale we have no reference point. along with the variables each wheel has it has made it impossible unfortunately

Mind you I like putting rims that are waaaaay to big on my ride.

That is understandable

in reference to scaling, when the user is removing the background etc of their car, surely they can enter a measurement that reveals the size of the wheel well.

the rims are then stored in a default size, and when the rim is placed in the specific cars wheel well, an alogirthm can be run to match the rim to the pre-defined wheel well size?

sorry if that makes no sense

if they are willing to take a side on picture of their car

im sure the extra effort involved in placing a ruler on their wheel well isnt too hard

yeah the only problem i'm seeing is that some images are if the internet and in those cases you cannot wip out a ruler and maseure the wheel well on a bugatti or a chev.

yeah but the purpose of the website is for people to look at rims that suit their cars the best.

Therefore the size of the rim being put on the car should only really matter to those people that have put pictures up of their own cars.

By that i mean if you are putting up a picture of a bugatti, it is useless information to know what size rims look best on it if you never plan on owning a bugatti and/or changing the rims
